Glan Garan is a ground floor apartment by the sea in the pretty little village of Cwmtydu. The beach, just a two minute walk away, is a mixture of sand and shingle and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the excitement of the sea and the beauty of a sunset.

The All Wales Coast Path is easily accessible from Cwmtydu and provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the renowned coastline towards New Quay or Llangrannog. Both are fun places to visit and offer a good choice of food and drinks.

Many Atlantic grey seals live along the Cardigan Bay coastline and are sometimes seen bobbing about in the bay. They often choose Cwmtydu Cove to have their pups, usually in late August and September.

We are also very fortunate to have bottlenose Dolphins in Cardigan Bay. New Quay - just a short drive along the coast, is a favourite place to look out for them from the harbour wall or by joining a boat trip.

Glan Garan sleeps up to four people. There are two bedrooms - one has a double bed and one has two single beds.

The lounge and kitchen are open plan with a large sunny window looking to the front garden. There is a small settee with two arm chairs and a TV. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave cooker and dishwasher. Cleaning materials and tea towels are provided.

The adjoining porch room has a washing machine for guests' use and provides extra space for storing walking boots, wellies, footballs, buckets and spades etc.

The bathroom has an electric shower, a wash hand basin and a toilet. Shower mats, cleaning materials and toilet rolls are provided.

The front garden is mostly gravelled and has a picnic bench and chairs. Please bring your own beach chairs if needed.

If you bring young children please be aware that the front garden gate opens onto the road leading to the sea front and that there is a river nearby.

You may park in the garden alongside the house and enter through the front gate and along the path to the main entrance door at the side of the building.

Internet is provided . Mobile phone signal is sometimes unreliable, particularly for Vodafone but EE and Plusnet usually have a good signal.

Bookings are usually taken for whole weeks beginning on Saturday. If requested it may be possible to arrange a short break, three nights minimum stay from £85 per night, except school holidays.

Please note - bed linen is provided but towels can be provided on request for an extra charge.

Pets not usually accepted, unless by prior arrangement.
