Yr Ysgubor (The Barn) is situated in a quiet, rural location
less than 2 miles from the beautiful Cardigan Bay coast and
Tresaith Beach. Penrallt y Cordde is a 15 acre non-working farm
and the formerly derelict barn was converted and restored to a
high standard in 2009.

Accommodation:
Downstairs are 3 bedrooms; one double ensuite, one with a double
and a single bed and one with bunk beds. A travel cot is also
available. The ensuite bathroom has a large shower and a Jacuzzi
bath and there is a second shower room. The bedrooms and bathrooms
have under floor heating throughout.
Upstairs is an open plan living area, with exposed oak beams, wood
and slate flooring and French doors leading to the original stone
steps down to the garden. The comfortable lounge has a log burning
fire, a 32” TV and a DVD player. There is also a dining area and a
fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine and
dishwasher.

Outside: There is a private
garden and barbeque area and ample off-road parking. On the opposite
side of the courtyard is another cottage (Bwthyn Barri - sleeps 5),
which may be booked together with the barn for larger parties. The
farmyard is surrounded by fields and trees, with views across the
valley.
Location: The farm is located between Cardigan and New Quay,
only a short drive from the many attractions of the area and an
ideal base for families, walkers and cyclists.

winning farm shop some 400 yards away for fruit and vegetables,
meat, bread and dairy products. The nearest supermarkets are in
Cardigan (9 miles). There are a number of pubs and restaurants
nearby, the nearest being The Ship at Tresaith (2 miles).
Rates: The barn can be rented from Saturday mid afternoon to
the following Saturday 10am. Weekly rates vary from £345 to £625.
Weekend breaks are also available outside the peak season (£200 to
£275). Bed linen and utilities are included in the price. Well
