This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom centrally heated and double glazed cottage overlooks the very picturesque harbour at Aberaeron, with uninterrupted views across to the Harbourmaster Hotel and the rainbow coloured houses of Pen Cei. There are 3 bedrooms including a downstairs double, fully enclosed garden, large conservatory, and private off road parking. Wake up each morning to see the boats in the harbour, the stunning sea views, and the countryside surrounding Aberaeron .This is a superb holiday location. Wi-Fi is available.

Accommodation -The property has 3 bedrooms, a downstairs double, facing the harbour, with adjacent shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin, an upstairs bedroom with King size bed and with windows and balcony overlooking the harbour. The twin bedroom also with sea views has an en-suite shower room with shower, WC and washbasin. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is also a family bathroom upstairs with bath, washbasin and WC. Travel cot and high chair available.

The well lit sitting room has comfy sofas seating six, also a flat screen 32" TV. There is a second sitting room downstairs with sofa, armchair and flat screen TV. The dining table seating 6 is in the spacious conservatory overlooking the garden. The well-equipped kitchen has a full size electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and all the usual small appliances. There is also a utility room off the conservatory with washing machine, sink unit, under counter freezer, ironing table and iron as well as a separate WC and washbasin.

  • Outside: There is a fully enclosed lawned garden to the rear with a summer house, patio charcoal BBQ and garden furniture.
     

  • Weekly bookings are from a Friday to a Friday at this property.

  • There is off road private parking in front of the house for up to 3 cars and additional on street parking in the road outside (there are no parking restrictions).

Aberaeron is a charming regency town and with its multi coloured houses, attractive harbour, Hotels, B&B and self-catering Holiday Cottages it has much to offer the visitor. Centrally located on Cardigan Bay, Aberaeron is close to Aberystwyth and Cardigan towns, while Lampeter and Tregaron are a short drive inland through the beautiful Aeron Valley, much loved by the poet Dylan Thomas who lived locally for a while.

At the mouth of the Aeron River, Aberaeron has been built on a level area between the mountains and the sea .
Aberaeron is a rare example of a town in Wales that was planned from the outset. The town as we know it today began in 1807 when the Rev Alban Thomas-Jones Gwynne obtained a private Act of Parliament to rebuild the harbour. Subsequently the town was planned in the regency style around a large open square - named Alban Square.

From Aberaeron, the coastal path leads north to Aberarth where in medieval times, bits would bring in supplies to provide for Strata Florida Abbey. To the south the path will take you along the cliffs to Cei Bach and the popular holiday resort of New Quay.
