Our cottage, beautifully converted from a former cow parlour sleeps 6 / 8. Situated on a sheep farm, it has unrivalled panoramic views of both farmland and the sea. An ideal spot for those who want a peaceful location with the added bonus of being only 1½ miles from the quiet fishing village of New Quay.

The cottage, located on our sheep farm, has unrivalled panoramic views. (Sea views from the lounge and all bedrooms.) Ideal for those wanting a peaceful location, only ½ mile from the Cwmtydu/New Quay coastal walk and 1½ miles from the quiet fishing village of New Quay.

The Cottage

The cottage has a very spacious lounge with a vaulted ceiling and log burning stove. It has one double and two twin bedded rooms ( bed linen is provided ) with the addition of a sofa bed in the lounge, a large bathroom, a separate shower room with toilet and a beautiful kitchen fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, Rangemaster cooker and all the usual pots and pans etc. A cot and high chair is available.

There is a lovely seating area outside the cottage where you would be welcome to 
have a barbeque (also supplied).

The Farm

Ty’r Ffynnon is a working sheep farm. Therefore, during season, there is the possibility of helping with feeding the lambs and witnessing their births. 

We also have chickens where fresh eggs can be collected and feeds assisted. If you just want to relax we have a beautiful and well-established fish pond which is the perfect location to sit in peace and enjoy your holiday read. 

Additional Information

• Secure storage and washing down facilities are provided for bikes; boats and trailers can be accommodated at an additional charge if requested. 

• Gas, electric and all bedding are included.

• Cot/camping cot, high chair and other baby items available on request although 
  cot bedding is not supplied.

• Smoking is not permitted in the cottage and we do not accept pets.
