All payments should be made to the agents in the manner specified on
the booking form. Non-payment of the balance of the rent on
the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by
the hirer. Bookings made within 6 weeks of your holiday date must be
paid for in full and in advance of occupation of the property.

on the condition that the property is left in the same state of

booking will pay for breakage and / or damage and cleaning if so
required. All breakages should be reported to the agents and minor
damage should be noted in writing at the termination of the stay.
7. Sleeping Capacity: The maximum number of people allowed is
clearly stated in the description and extra persons cannot be
8. Availability: The Hiring Contract is made on the
understanding that the property and its facilities as published on
the internet will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely
event that the property is not available through events arising out
of the control of the owner, then they may be forced to cancel the
booking. The hirer will be advised of any such circumstances as
early as possible, and will be refunded all monies paid in full with
the Hirer having no further claim against the owner.
9. Occupation times: Tenancies commence after 4 pm (unless
otherwise agreed), on the commencement date of the tenancy and
terminate at 10.00 am on the leaving date. This is to ensure that
the property can be properly cleaned and prepared.
10. Access to property: The Property Owner or his
representatives shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation
at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.
11. Dogs: One small / medium dog is permitted at no extra cost, but must not be allowed in the bedroom
or on the furniture.

belongings are at the Hirer's risk at all times, and no
responsibility can be accepted for loss of or damage to any vehicle

Cancellation more than 6 weeks
before the holiday: Any cancellation following payment of a
deposit, balance or total amount more than 6 weeks before the start
of the holiday is subject to a £50 cancellation fee. The
£50 cancellation fee can subsequently be used as a deposit for
a booking made through West Wales Cottages or West Wales Caravans
for any of our advertised holiday accommodation within 6 months from
the date of cancellation.
Non payment of
balance: In the event of balance of rental payments not being
made by the due date, and when the hirer makes no request for
additional payment time, the holiday dates will be re-advertised and
no refund will be given. We advise guests to arrange cancellation
and holiday insurance with the insurer of your choice to cover any
Complaints: Every effort has been made to ensure that you have
an enjoyable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint
please contact the owners immediately if any problem arises so that
it can be speedily resolved. They cannot subsequently consider any
complaints or enter into any correspondence about them unless this
procedure has been followed.
19. Cleaning and maintenance of the property - West Wales Cottages act
only as booking agents and have no responsibility for the cleaning and
maintenance of this property. This is entirely the responsibility of the owners
and all questions regarding cleaning and maintenance should be addressed to
20. External factors: West Wales Cottages has no
control over, and cannot be held liable for external factors that
could possibly affect a Holiday such as the weather, local
traffic, local events, noise or problems resulting from the
actions of neighbours, children playing, the
continuity of electricity, gas and water supplies
and the vagaries of television and mobile phone reception.
21. Data protection and Privacy: Information provided on Booking
Forms will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to a third
party or used for any other purpose.
Unavailability of a booked cottage - In the rare
instance that a cottage may be unavailable at the last
minute through unforseen circumstances beyond the control of
the owner or agents, then every effort will be made by the
agents to relocate the guests to a similar nearby property.
If no cottage is suitable or none is available at this time,
then a full refund will be given by the agents and the
owners and they will have no further liability over and
