From the Midlands or the North
There are a number of routes that can be taken to the Cottages from the Midlands and the North depending on the starting location. These will be either through Aberystwyth or Lampeter.

Via Aberystwyth: Take the A487 from Aberystwyth towards Cardigan. Pass through Aberaeron and then Llwyncelyn and after about half a mile you will see at the next crossroads, a  road on the right signposted 'Cei Bach' - also with brown tourism signs to Llain Activity Centre (this is the road shown in red on the map - the arrows show direction - not steep hills). Turn right here and proceed all the way to the end, where after a right turn you will pass the Cei Bach Country Pub. The road then turns sharp left and you take the first turn right passing some caravans in a field on your right. Stay on the track for 100 yards. Ty Gwyn will be the next house in front of you. Parking is on the right just before the house.

Via Lampeter: Take the A482 to Aberaeron ( don't be tempted by the 'short cut' from Ystrad Aeron to Llanarth - several people have got lost coming this way). At Aberaeron turn left on the  A487 towards Llanarth. Pass through  Llwyncelyn and after about half a mile you will see at the next crossroads, a  road on the right signposted 'Cei Bach' - also with brown tourism signs to Llain Activity Centre (this is the road shown in red on the map - the arrows show direction - not steep hills). Turn rightt here and proceed all the way to the end, where after a right turn you will pass the Cei Bach Country Pub. The road then turns sharp left and you take the first turn right passing some caravans in a field on your right. Stay on the track for 100 yards. Ty Gwyn will be the next house in front of you. Parking is on the right just before the house.
