Tanygorlan,
Aberaeron - sleeps 5/8 + cot
Tanygorlan is a charming
and beautifully furnished detached seaside house with full central
heating, and located less than a hundred yards from the
Cardigan Bay coastal path at Aberarth and only two minutes drive or
just a twenty minute
walk along the path from Aberaeron with its great pubs and
restaurants and colourful regency architecture. The newly opened
Ceredigion Coastal Path is now part of the 870 mile All Wales
Coastal Path stretching from the Dee in the north to Chepstow in the
south. There are wonderful beaches nearby at New Quay and
Llangrannog, with dolphin watching, fishing, surfing and many local
summer festivals, an excellent location for a holiday.
ACCOMMODATION -
Downstairs The open plan sitting and dining room are dual
aspect with windows facing the garden to the back and the little
river to the front. There are two large comfortable sofas, including
a sofa bed, and full length curtains to close off this part of
the room if required. The TV is a 40" flat screen with satellite
freeview and there is also a blu-ray player, DVD player and an
i-pod dock station. The dining table seats 6. The well equipped
kitchen overlooking the
garden has an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, kettle,
toaster and ample crockery, glassware, cutlery and cookware. The oil
fired rayburn provides heating and hot water, there are radiators
throughout. The kitchen opens onto the patio area and garden, there
is also a raised barbecue area, and outdoor furniture.
Upstairs There
are two bedrooms, the larger bedroom has a king size bed and also a
single day bed with slide out to make a double bed suitable for up
to two small children. The second bedroom is a double overlooking
the garden. The sofa bed downstairs can accommodate an additional
one or two if required. All bed linen and towels are provided. The
shower room is upstairs with WC, basin and shower. A travel
cot and high chair are available in the house.

kayaks etc.

There is often good surf at
Aberarth -one surfing website describes it as:
'A good spot for beginners and
intermediate surfers. Wave quality is all down to the right
conditions as it can range from white water mush to clean over
head waves or in some rare
cases there has been double over head.'
Access
There is level
parking next to the house and a small step into the property. The
ground floor is on two levels with a step down into the
sitting area from the dining area. The kitchen floor is tiled
and all other floors downstairs and upstairs are oak boards. Good
lighting throughout. The stairs are polished wood with anti -
slip tread . The shower room is upstairs. There are three
steps to the barbecue and lawn area of the back garden. The garden
is fully fenced at both sides and walled across the back. The front
garden area is open to the lane and the River Arth. The house is not
modified for disabled access.
