Just a few yards
from the
seashore at Aberarth, the Slwp is a newly converted romantic one
bedroom hideaway ideal for a couple to explore the beautiful Cardigan
Bay coast. With underfloor heating throughout , the Slwp is perfect for
a stay at any time of the year. Aberaeron is just a half
hour's walk along the coastal path with its great pubs and restaurants
and colourful regency architecture.
This
charming seaside cottage
provides an excellent base for exploring the Ceredigion coastal path
and the beautiful countryside of the county. There are safe and sandy
beaches within easy reach including New Quay, Cei Bach, Llangrannog,
and Llanrhystud.

| Accommodation:
The comfortable sitting / Dining room with sofa,
armchair and dining table for two has French doors that open onto a
patio area with sea views. There is a flat screen digital TV. The
compact but fully equipped kitchen has electric oven and hob,
dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and ample crockery,
glassware, cutlery and cookware.
The shower
room has shower, WC and wash basin. The
bedroom is at the rear of the cottage. Bed linen for the double bed and
towels are provided.
Outside: There
is a patio area
outside with garden furniture overlooking the sea. On a clear day the
views extend all the way across Cardigan Bay to Bardsey Island, the
Lleyn peninsula and Snowdonia.
Access:
There is level parking close to the door and a small step into the
property. The house is single storey and level throughout with tiled
floors. The house is not modified for disabled access.
Art
tutorials: Dennis Davidson can provide art tutorials with
critique for £25 for one and a half hours. Dennis held art classes for
Aberystwyth University Extra Mural Department for many years. Basic art
materials and studio space available

- Regret
no pets - no smoking inside the property.
- Ample space outside for surfboards,
bikes, kayaks etc.
- Apart from
the basics of milk, tea,
coffee etc, a welcome pack of organic local vegetables
can be provided and also salad items from our own walled
garden when available.
- There is often good
surf at Aberarth -one surfing website describes it as:
'A good spot for beginners and intermediate surfers. Wave quality is
all down to the right
conditions as it can range from white water mush to clean
over head waves or in some rare
cases there has been double over head.'
