Rosemary cottage is in the small village  of Gilfachreda a mile or so from New Quay in Cardiganshire, West Wales and just a 10 minute walk along a country lane from Cei Bach Beach. Short breaks not available at this cottage.

Sitting Room One

ACCOMMODATION -  5 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of up to 8 people as well as a toddler and  a baby. However, the cottage provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for a smaller family or even a couple. There are 2 double bedrooms, one upstairs with a four-poster bed, the other double being downstairs with an en-suite shower room. Also upstairs there is a twin bedroom, a bedroom with full size bunk beds and a junior bed and a family bathroom with a bath. There is a separate small bedroom with a full-sized cot and there is another full sized cot in the bunk bedroom. Two highchairs are also provided.

The large kitchen / Dining Room has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, automatic washing machine and all the usual small appliances. The dining table seats 8. 

One sitting room has two leather sofas, a 32 inch flat screen television with freesat (you can watch your own regional news if you wish on freesat), a VCR, DVD, CD Stereo and a wood -burning stove. The second sitting room also has two sofas and is ideal for relaxing or reading as there is no TV in that room. There are televisions in the master bedroom and the kitchen as well. The Garden in May	Downstairs double en suite	Cei Bach Beach

CHILDREN- In one twin room there are bunk beds and a  junior bed. There are also 2 cots, one in its own room next to the master bedroom and a second in the bunk bedroom. There are door-gates and a fire guard for the wood-stove. There also 2 high chairs, a booster seat, baby bath, baby monitor, sterilizer, and electric bottle warmer. There is a selection of books, toys, games and videos  for children of all ages.

GROUNDS-  There is a spacious fully enclosed private garden to the rear of the house, mostly lawned with edging flower beds and trees. There is a summer house (12 x 12) with garden furniture and a gas barbecue. For children there is a swing with interchangeable seats for different ages of children. 

PARKING - Parking for one large or two small cars is in the drive at the side of the house. Our other  private parking area for 2 - 3 cars, or boat is 30 yards along the road next to 'Ty Melyn Mair'.  

FUEL- Initial fuel for the wood stove in the sitting room is provided. Additional fuel is available locally and can be purchased at the Llanarth filling station or at Sheffield House in New Quay. The house is also equipped with electric night storage heaters. Electricity is included in the price.

BED LINEN -  Bed linen is provided but not towels.

PETS - Regret no pets accepted for 2012.

SMOKING is not permitted inside the house.

SHORT BREAKS - We do not rent short breaks at Rosemary Cottage, only complete weeks.
