Rosemary cottage is in the small village  of Gilfachreda a mile or so from New Quay in Cardiganshire, West Wales and just a 10 minute walk along a country lane from Cei Bach Beach and the Cei Bach Country Pub and Restaurant.  Short breaks not available at this cottage.

Sitting Room One

ACCOMMODATION -  5 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of up to 8 people as well as a toddler and  a baby. However, the cottage provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for a smaller family or even a couple. There are 2 double bedrooms, one upstairs with a four-poster bed, the other double being downstairs with an en-suite shower room. Also upstairs there is a twin bedroom, a bedroom with full size bunk beds and a junior bed and a family bathroom with a bath. There is a separate small bedroom with a full-sized cot - 2 cots and 2 highchairs can be provided by arrangement. 

The large kitchen / Dining Room has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, automatic washing machine and all the usual small appliances. The dining table seats 8. 

One sitting room has a colour television with satellite TV, a VCR, DVD, CD Stereo and a wood -burning stove. The second sitting room is ideal for relaxing or reading as there is no TV in that room. There are televisions in the master bedroom and the kitchen as well. CHILDREN- In one twin room there are bunk beds and a  junior bed. There are also 2 cots, one in its own room next to the master bedroom and a second, which can be placed in any other upstairs bedroom - please request the second if required. There are door-gates and a fire guard for the wood-stove. There also 2 high chairs, a booster seat, baby bath, baby monitor, sterilizer, and electric bottle warmer. There is a selection of books, toys, games and videos  for children of all ages.

TELEPHONE - There is a telephone in the cottage for incoming and emergency calls only. A BT 'In Contact Plus' card can be purchased from newsagents for making outgoing calls. 

GROUNDS-  There is a spacious fully enclosed private garden to the rear of the house, mostly lawned with edging flower beds and trees. There is a  carpeted summer house (12x12) with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. For children there is a swing with seats for several ages of children. 

PARKING - Parking for one large or two small cars is in the drive at the side of the house. Our other  private parking area for 2 - 3 cars, or boat is 30 yards along the road next to 'Ty Melyn Mair'.  

LOCATION - Rosemary Cottage is in a village location half a mile from Cei Bach Beach and a mile and a half from New Quay.

FUEL- Initial fuel for the open fire is provided. Additional fuel is available locally and can be purchased at the Llanarth filling station or at Sheffield House in New Quay. The house is also equipped with electric night storage heaters. Electricity and gas is included in the price.

BED LINEN - Bed linen can be provided for an additional charge of £25 per booking.
Personal towels are not provided.

PETS - One small to medium sized well behaved dog is welcome.
