Penrhiw is located on the crest of a hill in its own courtyard overlooking the beautiful Aeron valley - beloved of Dylan Thomas who described it as 'the most precious place in the world'. The house has been very recently renovated and equipped with new furniture and fittings.

Kitchen

Penrhiw has oil central heating and has 3 bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. The downstairs double has its own en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, while upstairs there is a family bathroom between the other two bedrooms. All the bedrooms and the sitting room have fine views from the front over the Aeron valley. Bed linen and towels are supplied.

The comfortable sitting room has TV with a digibox. The well-equipped kitchen has a family sized fridge/freezer, an automatic washing machine and a dishwasher and a microwave as well as the usual small appliances. The dining area is at the other end of the kitchen. A high chair and cot is available on request.

Behind Penrhiw is a large paved private patio with picnic table/benches and barbecue. There is adequate parking for several cars / boats etc.

Penrhiw is a few minutes drive from the delightful Regency harbour town of Aberaeron on the Cardigan Bay coast, and  seven miles from New Quay. Easy day trips could include visits to Aberystwyth, Newcastle Emlyn, Tregaron, Lampeter and Cardigan. The beaches of Cardigan Bay within an easy drive include New Quay, Cei Bach, Cwmtydu, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Penbryn. More details on our Beaches page and our Places to visit pages.
