Parc Gwair or 'Hay Meadow' is an outstanding country property less than 2 miles from the Cardigan Bay coast with 8 acres of carefully tended meadow and views over the surrounding countryside. There are  Pygmy Goats, Alpacas, Miniature Shetland Ponies, chickens and usually lambs and piglets in the spring. The large garden has raised decking with patio furniture, a gas barbecue and extensive play facilities for children. The renowned Crown Inn Pub and Restaurant at Llwyndafydd is just a few hundred yards down a quiet country lane from the house. The owners live in the adjacent annexe so you are assured of a warm welcome. Wireless Broadband is available in the house.

Upstairs Double Bedroom

ACCOMMODATION -  Although Parc Gwair has three bedrooms, we feel that the guests would be more comfortable and gain an added touch of luxury by limiting the number of guests to a maximum of  4 people including babies and children. However, the cottage provides spacious and comfortable centrally-heated accommodation for a couple where a 10% discount will apply. There are 2 double bedrooms, one upstairs with a king-sized bed and en-suite shower room, the other double being downstairs. Also upstairs there is a large twin bedroom, with another en-suite shower room.  All the bedrooms have TVs with VCR or DVD, and in the twin bedroom there is an X-box games console. Quality bed linen and tea towels are supplied, but not towels. The downstairs family luxury  bathroom with under-floor heating has a roll-top bath with his and hers vanity units, while the upstairs luxurious en-suites have double-sized showers.  A travel cot and high chair are available.

The comfortable sitting / Dining room has a large flat-screen TV with SKY Sports channels, and a DVD player with a large supply of DVD movies. There is a log burner with the initial supply of logs provided. Additional fuel can be purchased locally or from the owner. The compact, fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, under-counter fridge and all the usual small appliances including a George Foreman grill. Separately there is an automatic washing machine and small freezer. There is additional freezer space in the outside storage area if required.

GROUNDS-  There is a large fully enclosed private garden to the rear of the house, mostly lawned with large raised decking and patio furniture.  For children there is a large sandpit with sand toys, and an extensive play  area with playhouse, trampoline, slide, climbing frame and toys. A gas barbecue is available if required.

There is a large mowed meadow - several acres in area for ball games etc. Alongside this is the Alpaca field where the 3 Alpacas - Bobby, Manuka and Caspian graze. In the next paddock are the Pygmy Goats - Fizz, Izzles and Lucy and Pete the sheep. You will also want to meet the  2 miniature Shetland Ponies - Little Henry and Little Sid. There are also chickens and rabbits and fresh eggs are available.

There is abundant wildlife in the area including Red Kites, Buzzards, Jays and there is a resident pair of Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers that come to the bird feeders just outside the sitting room.

PARKING - There is adequate parking for many cars and outside storage for bikes, fishing gear, walking boots, surfboards, etc.
