Set in the quiet, quaint old heart of New Quay, Oyster cottage was a former blacksmiths shops which made fittings for the shipbuilding industry which thrived in New Quay two hundred years ago. Later converted to a fisherman's cottage it has been refurbished in 2006 maintaining nineteenth century style with twenty first century comforts. Less than two minutes from the harbour and beach it makes the perfect romantic hideaway for two.

ACCOMMODATION 
An entrance porch leads to a cosy lounge with two comfy sofas, TV with freeview, DVD, dark varnished ships floorboards, coffee table with games inside. A window seat gives glorious sea views. The kitchen is fitted in shaker style with a stainless steel range style gas cooker, double bowl Belfast style sink, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and microwave. A table and chairs and a window seat for those sea views. A rear corridor leads to the laundry cupboard with an automatic washing machine. 

The ground floor bathroom has a luxurious double ended roll top bath, WC and wash basin, shaver point and a deluge shower in it's own cabinet. The ground floor cabin bedroom has been fitted like a ships cabin with bunk beds and nautical antiques. The first floor comprises the main bedroom with a superb brass and iron king-sized bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair and a dormer window with side working porthole and both enjoy magnificent views across the bay towards the mountains of Snowdonia. 

On the landing is a separate WC and wash hand basin. A second bedroom is similarly fitted to the first and also has wonderful sea views. There is oil fired central heating throughout which is included in the hire fee along with linen and towels. Outside there are steps to the rear quarterdeck with a table and chairs, barbecue and views across Cardigan bay. Oyster Cottage is unsuitable for children, babies or pets. It is non smoking. Only 2 persons are permitted.
