Mount Pleasant is located on Glanmor Terrace,
just across the road from the Black Lion - reputed to be the
favourite 'watering hole' of Dylan Thomas when he lived in New Quay
during the Forties and home of the licensee Jack Patrick - one of
many New Quay characters who added to the mix in Dylan's 'Under Milk
Wood'.

Accommodation -
Come up the steps from Glanmor Terrace onto the
large terrace , from here you can see down to the sea front , and
across the harbour to Traethgwyn Beach and Cei Bach Beach beyond.
The kitchen door to the left is the front door.
Relax in the
comfortable spacious sitting and dining room on leather sofas where
there is a wood burning stove in the enormous stone fireplace,
TV with Freeview , dining table to seat 5 and views over the terrace
down to the sea.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with
ensuite shower room and dressing room. The twin bedroom is
accessible through the single bedroom. The family bathroom at the
top of the stairs has a corner bath with electric shower over, WC and wash basin.
Plenty of room for a travel cot, not provided at this property.

Outside: a large fenced and gated terrace with sea views and
garden furniture. There is also a large utility room with a washing
machine and ample space for storage of beach equipment , wet suits
etc.
Parking: The garage is currently unavailable. There is
on-street parking in Gomer Terrace when available, or by weekly
ticket at the main Uplands Square car park about 100 yards above the
house.

the patio for bikes, kayaks etc.
The garage is not presently available for vehicles.

radiators throughout.

the road at Sheffield House hardware shop)
- Bed Linen , towels and tea towels are not provided
- Regret no pets and no smoking in the house.
- Bookings from Saturday to Saturday only - no
