Situated in the heart of West Wales in the Carmarthenshire countryside, with the lovely beaches of Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire in easy reach, Llainddu Farm Cottage commands superb views across the beautiful Teifi Valley and provides immediate access to fifteen acres of private woods and farmland, with farm walks and abundant wildlife. The tastefully restored and furnished cottage sleeps up to 7 people (cot also available on request). 

Accommodation
This attractively converted former farm building provides spacious accommodation of character with traditional welsh quarry tiles and solid oak flooring downstairs, beamed vaulted ceilings upstairs, and an open fireplace in the living room. The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and large living/dining room with central heating throughout. Mobile phone reception is usually good. 

All 4 bedrooms have far-reaching views over the Teifi Valley. The master bedroom benefits from a dual aspect, vaulted beamed ceiling and king-size bed. Further bedrooms comprise a double, twin and single, all provided with appropriate storage space. Three bedrooms are carpeted, with one having a solid oak floor. 

The kitchen is recently refitted with calor gas cooker and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. There is quarry tile flooring and a breakfast table and seating. 

The spacious living/dining room has a solid oak floor and open fireplace. It is furnished with comfortable seating, TV, DVD and CD player, as well as farmhouse dining table and chairs. 

The refitted bathroom incorporates bath, toilet and shower. 
  

Outside
The kitchen and living room open out onto a private enclosed south-facing courtyard with garden furniture and barbeque, and private parking space for 2 cars (further parking available to side of property). An outbuilding across the courtyard provides ample secure storage for mountain bikes, canoes, fishing rods etc. An additional lawned garden (also enclosed) is available to the rear of the holiday cottage. The cottage is situated at the end of a farm track and is adjacent to Llainddu Farmhouse which is occupied by owners Cath and Alistair and their two young children. Visitors are permitted free access to woodland and fields across Llainddu farm, but are advised to take care as there are unfenced streams and steep, wet areas in the woods, and the fields are subject to normal farming activities. Access to these areas is thus granted on the clear understanding that it is at the visitor's own risk and children should be supervised at all times. 

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. If you need to know prices for later dates, please get in touch. Sometimes, out of season, the cottage may be available for short breaks (minimum 3 nights).
