From the
South ( M4 and Carmarthen )
Take the M4 until it
ends at Junction 49, At the roundabout, take the second
exit, signposted Carmarthen (A48) At next roundabout,
after 4 miles, take the third exit, signposted Carmarthen (A48). When you reach the first roundabout at Carmarthen,
take the third exit, signposted Llandeilo (A40) At the
next roundabout, continue straight on signposted Llandeilo
(A40) At the next roundabout, take the first exit,
signposted Lampeter (A485) At the next roundabout, take
the second exit signposted Lampeter (A485) Continue for 8
miles, take a left, signposted Pencader (B4459) Continue
for 3 miles, take a left, signposted Llandysul (B4336) At
first T junction after 1.5 miles (after Pencader) take a
left, signposted Llandysul (B4336) At next T junction
after 1 mile (at Llandysul), take a right, signposted A486
New Quay. At the crossroads after 11 miles (at
Synod Inn), go straight across towards New Quay. When you
reach New Quay, continue to the bottom of the hill and
take a left into Masons Street ( to the left of the no
entry sign at the top of Church Street ). Take the first
left into Lewis Terrace and continue towards the end where
number 12 will be seen on your left. The parking place is
opposite the house on Lewis Terrace.
From the Midlands
or the North
There are a
number of routes that can be taken to the Cottages from the
Midlands and the North depending on the starting location.
These will be either through Aberystwyth or
Lampeter. Continue along the A487 until you
reach Llanarth, then turn right on to the B4342 and
continue along Park Street and Hill Street (past the Chinese
restaurant). You will go down a short hill and then turn
right into Mason Street ( to the left of the no entry sign
at the top of Church Street ). Take the first left into
Lewis Terrace and continue towards the end where number 12
will be seen on your left. The parking is opposite the
house on Lewis Terrace.
