Kingfisher Cottage is at Goyffos Farm - an
equestrian smallholding just a few miles from New Quay and the
lovely beaches of Cardigan Bay. Conveniently situated near the A487
coast road, it is about halfway between the market towns of Cardigan
and Aberystwyth' It is a comfortable single storey cottage sleeping
two to four people

Kingfisher Cottage has one double bedroom and the
comfortable lounge has a sofa bed which can sleep two more guests.
Please note that the accommodation is not suitable for children
under seven as the farm has streams, a deep pond and horses. There
is an additional sofa together with a TV and DVD/video in the
lounge. A selection of videos is provided. The well-equipped kitchen
/ dining room has an electric stove, fridge and microwave together with the
usual small appliances. The bathroom has a bath with shower over,
toilet and wash basin. The porch has space for boots and outside
equipment. Outside there is a patio to the front of the cottage with
garden furniture and a barbeque. The farm has fifteen acres of
fields and woodlands to explore, Ponies, horse, sheep and
chickens and there is a seating area by the lake.

The cottage is recently refurbished and newly
decorated and is situated approximately four miles from the pretty
seaside town of New Quay, on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. Here
there is a sheltered harbour and safe sandy beaches where the famous
Cardigan Bay Dolphins can be seen from the pier on most days during
the summer months. New Quay also offers boat trips with wonderful
opportunities to enjoy Cardigan Bay's wildlife. Other important
wildlife in the area include the rare Chough, the Red Kite and the
Grey seal. A short
distance to the south are the beautiful beaches of Cwmtydu, Penbryn,
Tresaith and Mwnt.
- Bed linen is included, but guests are asked to provide
their own personal towels and beach towels.
- There is adequate parking near the cottage.
- Pony rides are available by arrangement with
the owners.
- Guests are welcome to help at animal feeding
time.
- Kingfisher Cottage can accommodate one well
behaved pet. There is a £15 charge for a pet.
- There is secure storage for mountain bikes,
kayaks and canoes.
- The property is not suitable for children under
five.
- No smoking is allowed in the cottage or around the
farm buildings.
- Electricity is by a key meter.
