Ingledene is a superb luxury holiday home with
excellent sea views of both the harbour and the bay from all of the
front rooms making it one of the most desirable houses in the lovely
seaside town of New Quay. It sleeps 9 people making it an ideal
choice for a large group or maybe two families.
Ingledene has been furnished to a very high standard with lots of
nautical items to give a seaside feel. It has oak floors and log
burners and has been decorated with lots of neutral tones giving it
a lovely relaxing feel.
The ground floor has a cosy lounge with a
multi-fuel log burner. There are comfy sofas and tub chairs together
with television, DVD & micro hi-fi system. The dining room also has
a multi-fuel log burner and a large table and chairs. You can enjoy
big family breakfasts or dinners whilst taking in the fantastic
views of the bay.
Through an archway is a beautiful handmade kitchen with all mod cons
including an electric range, fridge with ice box, microwave, washing
machine and dishwasher. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and
cooking utensils and even picnic ware should you want to dine on the
beach.
Adjoining the kitchen is the snug which has a comfy seating area
with tub chairs, coffee table and another television. It is an ideal
space for children or for enjoying a coffee and a chat. French doors
lead outside onto a pleasant sheltered courtyard.
The first floor has three bedrooms - one kingsize, one double and
one single room. All have breathtaking views. There are two
bathrooms - one with a bath and shower over and the other with a
large shower. Both rooms have heated towel rails and shaver points.
There is plenty of hot water, all included in the rental.
On the second floor is an attic room with a seating area, television
and four single beds. The panoramic views are simply stunning.
At the lower level outside there is a secluded
courtyard and an outside toilet. There is a separate boiler/drying
room where you can leave your wetsuits, cycling, walking gear etc.
There are steps from the house leading up to a professionally
landscaped garden with a level patio, pretty borders, decking areas,
table, chairs, parasol, recliners and also a BBQ. If preferred, the
garden can be accessed through a gate at the side of the property
avoiding the necessity of using the steps. Care must be taken on the
steps especially by children and the infirm.
Oil fired central heating with radiators throughout. Electricity &
oil included within the rental. Wood / coal for the fires is
available within the village. Duvets & pillows are provided however
bed linen is NOT provided. Unrestricted parking to the front and
side of the property and also within the village car parks. No pets.
No smoking. Children and the infirm should be supervised going up
and down the steps.
