'Gwynfor', Terms and conditions of
rental
1. Contract. The contract of hire exists
between the Hirer and property owners.
2. Bookings A provisional booking will be held for up to 7 days pending receipt of your deposit cheque. After this period we
will have the right to accept another booking.
3. Payment. The balance of the hire charge should be paid in
full 6 weeks prior to the date of your holiday. For any bookings
received less than 4 weeks before the date of the holiday the charge
to be paid by cheque at least 7 days prior to your holiday
alternatively payment to be made in Cash in full on your arrival.
4. Damage/Extra Cleaning. All bookings are accepted on the
condition that the property is left in the same state of repair,
order and cleanliness both inside and outside as it was presented to
you at the start of your holiday. The person who made the booking
will be responsible for paying for any breakages, damage or extra
cleaning costs if so required. Major breakages should be reported to
the owners immediately. Please advise us of minor breakages at the
end of your holiday.
5. Maximum Numbers. The maximum number of guests is 5.
6. Availability. The hiring contract is made on the
understanding that the property and its facilities are as shown in
our brochure and for the dates stated. However if circumstances
arise which are out of the control of the owners then they may be
forced to cancel the booking. The hirer will be advised of any such
circumstances as early as possible, and will be refunded all monies
paid in full with the hirer having no further claim against the
owner.
7. Occupation. Tenancies commence after 5.00 p.m. on the
commencement date of the holiday and terminate at 10.30a.m. on the
leaving date. This is to ensure that the house can be properly
cleaned and prepared.
8. Access. The property owner or his representatives shall be
allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time
during any holiday occupancy.
9. Pets. Sorry no Pets allowed at the property.
10. Smoking. Sorry no smoking allowed in the property.
11. Linen. The beds at the property are not provided with linen.
Bed linen and towels can be provided for a surcharge of £25.
12. Special Requirements. If you have special requests or
needs you are responsible for advising us at the time of the
booking, although we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.
Failure to meet special requests will not be a breach of contract.
Please satisfy yourself that the property is completely suitable for
your needs. Please note that if a particular requirement is not
specified as being available on the brochure, then it is not
provided.
13. Motor vehicles. There is adequate private off road
parking space. Cars and personal belongings, and baggage are at the
hirer's risk at all times and no responsibility can be accepted for
the loss of or damage to any vehicle or its contents.
14. Cancellation and Insurance. If the hirer wishes to cancel
the booking for any reason within 28 days of the holiday, he should
advise us immediately initially by telephone or e-mail followed by a
confirmatory letter. Upon receipt of such a letter (but without
obligation to the hirer) we will attempt to obtain a replacement
booking and if successful will then refund to the hirer any monies
paid less a £10 administration fee. If the owners are unable to
re-let then the owners shall be entitled to retain all payments
already made. We advise guests to arrange holiday insurance with a
company of their choice with the cover to include cancellation
cover.
