Nearby:

Lampeter - Lampeter is s thriving market town with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It is the smallest university town in both Wales and the United Kingdom. The university, in a normal year, adds a further 1,000 people to the town's population and gives the rural town a somewhat cosmopolitan feel. The Romans once mined for gold near Lampeter, at Pumpsaint. The site of the old gold mine is now managed by the National Trust and visitors may obtain a first hand glimpse of the conditions in which gold miners worked in those bygone times.

There is splendid countryside scenery to be enjoyed in the Lampeter area - and wonderful angling on the river Teifi.

Aberaeron - Aberaeron is a charming regency town and with its multi coloured houses, attractive harbour, Hotels, B&B and self-catering Holiday Cottages it has much to offer the visitor. Centrally located on Cardigan Bay, Aberaeron is close to Aberystwyth and Cardigan towns, while Lampeter and Tregaron are a short drive inland through the beautiful Aeron Valley, much loved by the poet Dylan Thomas who lived locally for a while.
