Craig Ina

Sitting room

Kitchen

Relax in our Grade II listed cottage in the middle of the village 250 yards from New Quay's harbour and beach. Craig-Ina is a detached cottage with parking for three cars and a large south facing garden with decked patios and barbecue. It is also an ideal retreat out of season, and is attractively furnished in a traditional style with full central heating and a cosy sitting room with a coal fire. Internet access via Ethernet cable (supplied).

Children over five and one well behaved dog welcome.    No smoking in the cottage.

Double bedroom

Kitchen / Breakfast room

Garden

Accommodation:  Upstairs there is an en-suite double, a twin, and a single bedroom that comfortably sleeps five; and a bathroom with a toilet, bath / shower and immersion heater for hot water.

Downstairs there is a new kitchen with an electric cooker (4-ring hob and double oven), microwave, fridge / freezer, washer / dryer, dish washer, radio; a breakfast room; a stable door to the lower patio; a dining room; and a cosy sitting room with coal fire, Sony wide screen TV with Freeview and DVD / Video player.

We also have an enclosed south facing garden with two decked patios, gas barbecue, patio furniture including loungers and tables with sea views from the top of the garden; an outside toilet. There is parking for three family sized cars on the front drive.

New Quay is an unspoilt fishing village with a picturesque sheltered harbour, award-winning beaches and narrow, terraced streets. New Quay is busy and humming during the season, especially during Cardigan Bay Regatta (8-10 August 2008.), but peaceful and quiet out of season. There is New Quay Water Sports Centre; coastal walks and pleasure boat trips along Ceredigion's unspoilt Maritime Heritage Coast where you are likely to see bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic Grey seals, porpoise and many sea birds; and, the new Dylan Thomas trail (many think that New Quay, not Laugharne, was the inspiration for Under Milk Wood).

Craig-Ina is a few minutes walk from the shops, two small supermarkets, a butcher, a wide range of pubs, restaurants, takeaways (including Indian and Chinese) and the harbour where locally caught fish are sold on the pier.
