buzzards and other wildlife. In New Quay and the surrounding area
there are several sandy beaches accessible by road or by footpath from
the cottage. It is about 15 minutes walk down a steep path into the
town. A pet is welcome.

New Quay, Oyster cottage was a former blacksmiths shops which made
fittings for the shipbuilding industry which thrived in New Quay two
hundred years ago. Later converted to a fisherman's cottage it has
been refurbished in 2006 maintaining nineteenth century style with
twenty first century comforts. Less than two minutes from the harbour
and beach it makes the perfect romantic hideaway for two.
